Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, June 25th at 10am ET, Gun Violence Prevention Task Force Chairman Mike Thompson (CA-04), Democratic Caucus Whip Katherine Clark, Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-06), Rep. Robin Kelly (IL-02) and colleagues will hold a press conference at the House Triangle.
The members will mark the four-year anniversary of the historic Bipartisan Safer Communities Act and highlight how President Trump has worked to quietly unravel that progress, including with his administration's recent 30+ deregulatory actions at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that are flying under the radar. The group will call for a renewed effort to stop these bad policies and to protect our communities from gun violence. Members of the press are invited to attend. Details are below:
