DAVIS, CA – Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04), Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Tax Policy, will be joined by local public officials, labor and nonprofit leaders, and business owners to announce the introduction of the American Energy Independence and Affordability Act (EIAA) on Monday, December 8, at 2:00 p.m.
The legislation restores renewable energy investments that were eliminated under the Trump administration’s Big Ugly Bill, reversing harmful cuts that raised energy costs for families and small businesses. Members of the press are invited to attend.
