Washington – Today Gun Violence Prevention Task Force Chairman Mike Thompson (CA-05) announced that Member-Elect Joe Neguse (CO-02) has joined the Task Force for the 116th Congress.
“I am honored to join the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force to work to make our communities safer with common sense gun violence prevention legislation,” said Member-Elect Neguse. “We have seen too many tragedies due to gun violence here in Colorado and I am hopeful that we can make this a top priority this Congress.”
“Joe has already fought for policies that help keep his community safe in Colorado and so I am proud to welcome his experience to the Task Force,” said Chairman Thompson. “I am looking forward to finally taking action and passing meaningful legislation to help combat gun violence and Joe will help us achieve those goals.”
