Washington – Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) announced Siddharth Kohli from Sonoma County as the winner of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge. Siddharth’s app, titled Cleanworld, teaches users about how to safely dispose of materials not safe for landfills and provides our community with a one-stop-shop to exchange these materials.

“The Congressional App Challenge is one of my favorite events of the year because it showcases the exceptional abilities of students in our district to develop apps that help in unique ways,” said Thompson. “This year, we had incredible submissions, and I am proud of all of our participants. Congratulations to Siddharth on his outstanding app that helps inform users about the importance of safely disposing materials that aren’t safe for landfills.
