Lincoln, CA – On Saturday, July 18th, Congressman Mike Thompson
hosted an Ask Me Anything Town Hall in Lincoln. Congressman Thompson
discussed with constituents issues that matter most to our district including
bringing down costs, ensuring access to health care, fighting corruption,
and protecting Social Security.
“Gas prices are up, ICE is out-of-control, and American taxpayers are
footing the bill for the President’s illegal war with Iran. It’s no wonder people
have had enough. I’m right there with them. Lawmakers from every party
should be focused on helping working people, not playing political games. I
was proud to host another town hall in Lincoln to continue hearing directly
from Fourth District residents on the issues that matter most to them. I’ll
continue to work across the aisle to make life more affordable and to be a
voice for Lincoln in Washington,” said Thompson.

about the issues that are facing our community.” said Lincoln Mayor Richard Pearl. “It
is so critical that our federal representatives be accessible and we
appreciate Congressman Thompson’s hearing our concerns. We also
appreciate his forthright answers to complex issues we face both as a local
community and as part of our great nation.
As part of Congressman Thompson’s ongoing commitment to hearing from
his constituents, he has hosted more than 30 town halls, community
coffees and “Meet and Greets” across the Fourth Congressional District.
Congressman Thompson also has Ask Me Anything Town Halls planned in
Williams, Yuba City, and Elverta next week.
Congressman Thompson is running in his newly redrawn Fourth
Congressional District which contains parts or all of Colusa, Lake, Napa,
Placer, Sacramento, Sonoma, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties.
Congressman Thompson is a member of the House Ways and Means
Committee, which has jurisdiction over health care, tax, trade, Social
Security and income security issues. Congressman Thompson is the
Ranking Member of the Tax Subcommittee and a senior member of the
Health Subcommittee. He is also a member of the fiscally responsible Blue
